FUJITSU x BAPE – FMV-BIBLIO LOOX U Netbook

A little over a month ago, a collaboration between FUJITSU and BAPE was announced. The Japanese label worked with electronics maker, FUJITSU, to put the iconic BAPE Camouflage print on the latter’s popular netbook, FMV- BIBLIO LOOX U. While little information were available for the specs a month ago, the ultra portable device is now available for order on FUJITSU’s webshop. In terms of aesthetics, the hipper-than-your-average-gadget netbook is available in two colorways, the BAPE CAMO GREEN and BAPE CAMO BLACK. As for the heart of the gadget, the netbook powers on Intel’s tiny mighty, the fast yet energy efficient Atom processor. One can customize and choose from three speeds (the 1.33 GHz Z520, 1.6 GHz Z530 and the 2.0 GHz Z550). In terms of platform, one can select Windows XP or the recently released Windows 7; storage wise, the netbook comes in 30G and 62G. While the iPhone and Droid has seemed to make totting laptops around obsolete to internet usage, a netbook is a nice compromise between the hefty laptop and tiny phone. Want to stay connected while looking good without sacrificing your eyesight, BAPE style? The FMV can be ordered via the FUJITSU Webmart.
Super dope, I am willing to trade in my 115 inch Macbook pro for this tiny laptop. It’s just really sick… Bape is doing the biggest things the fashion biz so far, without a doubt.

A Bathing Ape 2010 Spring Collection Catalog

Here’s a preview of some of the forthcoming highlights from Bape for 2010. The following photos show releases for Bape’s general release range as well as the line-up for Bapexclusive stores URSUS line and the Bape x Ambush collection which we already previewed. New for the Japanese giant, is a baby-milo ‘all safari’ print and also a new leopard camo which will feature on Bapestas, jeans, jackets and accessories. Another camo to feature prominently is Bape’s puzzle-camo which makes a return in 2010. Take a good look now, because once released, chances are that you won’t get much time to consider a purchase!
I have my eyes set on the Bape Ambush Tee and Necklace, as well as the Ursus crewneck, pants. Thats about it, its a nice collection but I wouldn’t rock the Baby Milo, thats for little kids. Sweet designs nonetheless.

I want the backpack so much. This is so dope! Hefty price tag though.

URSUS BAPE 2nd Collection Preview

URSUS BAPE unveils a preview of its upcoming collection for the line’s second drop via Grind Magazine’s latest issue. Following a successful first run, under the guidance of Tetsu Nishiyama of WTAPS fame, this second collection takes off with a different theme, showcasing more of a nautical approach with clean designs pairing subtle color choices and minimal branding. Seen are classic items such as chinos, polo shirts, shoes, accessories, and lightweight outerwear.
I love Ursus Bape. This is a very nice collection.
mastermind JAPAN x visvim Zip Skagway

A second collaboration for the Winter season between both visvim and mastermind JAPAN comes to light. This time both work together on a special make up of the Skagway high top. The shoes feature a classic Chuck Taylor cut with side zipper and black & white colorway. Stay tuned for a closer look in the coming weeks.
Oh my god… These are fresh to deahth. Going to cost you $$$$$$ but its all good, they’re worth it.
Bapexclusive Kyoto: Closer Look

Here’s a closer look at Bapexclusive Kyoto store, which opened today. Perhaps the most outlandish figure is the Terra Cotta warrior style PONR life-sized figures. Having preview this store a few days ago, these updated shots show the store to be very spacious (much more so that most other bape stores), but then I guess that’s where the exclusive part kicks in!
THIS IS SO DOPE! OMG! INCREDIBLE, THESE STORES ARE SO CREATIVE! I MIGHT DESIGN MY HOUSE IN THE FUTURE LIKE ONE OF THESE STORES! ITS CRAZY!

eYe JUNYA WATANABE COMME des GARCONS x New Balance 576

For those familiar with this past season from eYe JUNYA WATANABE COMME des GARCONS, this New Balance 576 collaboration is a continuation of the collection’s outdoor and workwear theme. Featuring a reddish brown upper in full leather, the laces are distinctly on the workboot tip. By no means a ground-breaking design but something that compliments the rest of the collection this year. The eYe JUNYA WATANABE COMME des GARCONS x New Balance 576 is available now at the flagship store in Hong Kong’s Central district with a retail price of $1950 HKD (approximatley $250 USD).

Not a bad price, and these are new and fresh. I’d wear these over any Jordan.

Lanvin 2010 Spring/Summer Footwear

Lanvin unveils a selection of styles from the brand’s upcoming footwear releases for spring/summer 2010. Featured amongst the varied designs are three different styles, all pairing high top platforms with a strong selection of premium materials. Highlights include the use of Calfskin as well as Grosgrain ribbon. Expect all to drop through Lanvin retailers with the arrival of the new season.
Second Lanvin post of the day, and I have to say that these shoes are pretty dope. I like the medium Navy Blue ones.
KAWS x Clipse “Till The Casket Drops” Album Cover

With the new album from Clipse having now officially arrived, we get a further look into the album artwork, created by internationally renowned artist KAWS. Till The Casket Drops is now available in stores.
The cover artwork is great. Shout out to KAWS.
